We came for a 2 night stay. We were very kindly upgraded when we arrived, which was so lovely. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The bed and bedding were fabulous like sleeping on a cloud.room facilities were great, tea and coffee station, huge t.v, beautiful veiw from the room.The leisure facilities were excellent, very clean and were open till late so we got to use them after a day and night of walking all of York.Bus stop just outside, to take you into the train station or york city centre.We would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was SUPERB - so delicious and so much choice! The staff were friendly ( tell the breakfast lady she is great!) The location was great and we enjoyed walky into the city to see the sights and also enjoyed cycling the local trails ( Solar system path) and a good few laps of the racecourse! We loved the gym and the pool too. Also thank you for the birthday treat for hubby - a nice surprise! The welcoming cool water in reception was good in the warm weather also! Thank you.

Breakfast was really good, Food cooked well, plentiful. The tables and chairs were clean, staff were attentive. Our room had housekeeping every morning,

Staff very welcoming and efficient. Food we had was tasty and well presented. Pool area very nice. Children loved it. The bed and pillows were the usual quality. Very comfortable.

The location of the hotel is perfect! You can get into a city by 20 - 30 minutes walk. Lovely swimming pool and gym.
